Driving is straightforward outside rush hour, but the hill fills up at weekends.

Parking at the tower
There is on-site visitor parking, usually paid, at the tower complex. Capacity is finite and it is busiest on weekend afternoons and around sunset, which are exactly the times most visitors want to arrive.
Driving there
- Approach through Bulgurlu; the final road up the hill is narrow and winding.
- Avoid crossing the Bosphorus by car between 07:30–10:00 and 16:30–20:00.
- If you are staying on the European side, the metro-plus-taxi combination is usually faster than driving.
