Galata or Çamlıca?
Galata gives you close, textured views: rooftops, ferries, minarets, the Golden Horn right below. Çamlıca gives you scale: the entire Bosphorus, both continents and the Marmara in one sweep. If you have time for one, choose Galata for atmosphere in a walkable district and Çamlıca for the panorama.
Practical notes
- The observation balcony is narrow and busy — expect to shuffle
- Timed tickets reduce the queue significantly
- Allow 45 minutes plus waiting
