What to expect
Rows of columns rise from shallow water under theatrical lighting, including the famous Medusa heads. It is compact — 30 to 45 minutes is enough — but it is also cool and shaded, which makes it a good midday stop in summer.

- Evening slots are quieter and the lighting is more effective
