How to Get From Sultanahmet to Çamlıca Tower
Tram, ferry, metro and taxi compared, with realistic journey times.
The recommended route
Tram T1 to Eminönü, ferry to Üsküdar, M5 metro to Bulgurlu, then a short taxi up the hill. Around 55–75 minutes in total, and the ferry crossing is worth the trip on its own.
By taxi
A direct taxi takes 30–50 minutes depending on the bridge traffic. Outside rush hour it is the simplest option, especially coming back down the hill after dark.
