How to Get From Taksim to Çamlıca Tower
The fastest route across the Bosphorus and what it costs.
The recommended route
Funicular down to Kabataş, ferry or Marmaray across to Üsküdar, M5 metro to Bulgurlu, then a taxi. Expect 50–70 minutes with an Istanbulkart covering every leg.
When to take a taxi instead
Between 10:00 and 16:00 a direct taxi across the Bosphorus Bridge usually beats public transport at 25–45 minutes. At rush hour, take the ferry — the bridge can double that.
